AttentiveKids is operated by MindSpring Innovations Inc., a Delaware corporation with offices at 444 W Lake St, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60606, USA ("we", "us", "our"). MindSpring Innovations Inc. is the data controller for personal data collected through attentivekids.com, our mobile experiences, and any related services (the "Service").

This policy explains what personal data we collect from parents and caregivers, why we collect it, how we share it, and the rights you have over your data.

We collect the following categories of personal data, all from parents or caregivers — never directly from children:

• Email address and (optionally) name
• Child's age range (e.g. "5–7 years") — never the child's name or identifiers
• Quiz responses about your child's attention patterns
• Purchase history (product, amount, currency, country)
• IP address, browser, device locale, and approximate region
• UTM parameters and referral source if you arrive from a campaign

• Contract performance — to deliver programs, memberships, and coaching you've purchased.
• Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the Service, prevent fraud, and produce aggregated analytics.
• Consent — to send marketing emails (including the 3-day attention reset sequence). You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email.
• Legal obligation — to retain purchase records for tax and accounting compliance.

• Deliver the digital programs, memberships, and coaching you purchase
• Send the 3-day attention reset email sequence and other transactional emails (every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link)
• Personalize quiz results and program recommendations
• Improve content and platform reliability through aggregated analytics
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents

We do not sell personal data. We share limited data with the following processors who help us run the Service:

• Paddle — our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payment processing, tax collection, invoicing, and receipts. Their privacy policy is at paddle.com/legal/privacy.
• Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
• Lovable — platform infrastructure and edge runtime.
• Email delivery providers used to send transactional and marketing emails on our behalf.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law.

AttentiveKids is a parent-facing product. We are COPPA-aware and designed our data model so that:

• All accounts are created and controlled by a parent or legal guardian aged 18+.
• Children under 13 do not create accounts and do not interact directly with the Service.
• We collect only an age range for the child — never the child's name, photo, voice, or precise age.
• Parents may request deletion of all data relating to their family at any time.

• Email leads — up to 3 years from last engagement.
• Purchase records — 7 years, to meet tax and accounting requirements.
• Quiz responses — up to 2 years.
• Account data — for the life of your account, then deleted within 90 days of account closure (excluding records we must retain by law).

You have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or object to our processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@attentivekids.com. We respond within 30 days.

EU and UK users have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Indian users have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), including correction, erasure, grievance redressal, and nomination.

We use essential cookies required to run the Service (authentication, security, checkout) and lightweight analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Personal data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest within our database hosted on Supabase. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel and audited.
